I hope all this flushing cures whatever's ailing it, although I'd sure hate to be down stream. (Couldn't it have tried a little Pepto Bismol first? Even a Tums, perhaps?) Gulf of California, you've been duly warned.
(Oh, what do you want from me?)

Agreed! We know from Tums like nobody’s business.
I love the quotes from the article. They read like dialogue from an AMC classic, starring Joan Crawford and Clark Gable.
"This river continues to evolve because of the forces of man and nature"
"Today we're here to set the river free."
"This week's high-flow stunt is nothing but a green wash to mask another betrayal of the Grand Canyon by its political custodians,"
Right?!
